Occupy Your Street!

Last night Occupy Atlanta brought home owners and activists together to learn more about using the Occupation tactic to win back their homes. This year foreclosure are expected to be on the rise, Atlanta alone will likely have over 100,000 foreclosures.

Meanwhile our homeless population continues to grow towards 10%. It's time to explore new ways to resist this epidemic of banks robbing houses. Over the next few months Atlanta will see more and more home owners standing up to the banks the very finnacial institutions that caused our economic meltdown. Homeowners, renters, workers and activists uniting to occupy our homes.

Housing is a human right, and there's plenty of resources to go around if we work together, if we learn to think about more than ourselves. We can make Atlanta better, more fair, more just. We can do this!
